Blue Pit - Blaine Tyler

Blaine Tyler's science fiction epoch Maggie's Dawn reached the Nicholl Fellowship semifinals in 2011. Since then, it has been optioned for development by New York based BCDF Pictures. In 2012, he placed in the semifinals of Page International with a zombedy titled Dead Man Talking. This year, Blue Pit placed in the semifinals of the Blue Cat Screenplay Competition. Since moving to Los Angeles in 1995, he has been an actor, screenwriter, fighter, and substitute teacher. A martial artist since childhood, he has spent considerable time training and in Thailand, the Netherlands, and Brazil. Blaine resides in Hollywood with his wife Jo-Ann his blue pit Juanita.

Child In The Dark - Ian Ogden

Ian is currently seeking financing for CHILD IN THE DARK - a horror script that was awarded a Panasonic Filmmaker Grant at IFP's Independent Film Week Project Forum, won the "Award for Creative Excellence" in the Slamdance Film Festival Horror Screenplay Competition (600 horror script entries), won 2nd Place in the Scriptapalooza Screenplay Competition (4,300 entries), placed 4th out of 2,200 entries in the Slamdance Film Festival Screenplay Competition (all genres), and was selected to participate in the Atlanta Film Festival Screenplay Lab, the Hamptons International Film Festival Screenwriters' Lab, NALIP's Latino Writers Lab, and NALIP's Latino Producers Academy - which Ian attended as a Director Fellow. www.IanOgden.com

Freezer - Ellyn Daniels & Rachel Jackson

A former ballet dancer turned model turned comedienne, actor and writer, Ellyn has worked in Europe, Asia, Africa, and the United States. She draws from her experiences with people from all over the globe to create a wide variety of unique and hilarious characters both on screen and in her stand-up act. As an actress, Ellyn has been seen guest starring on ABC's The Forgotten, FOX's Justice and in many FOD Exclusives. She performs regularly at the Comedy Store, Hollywood Improv and Laugh Factory in LA and at Caroline's, Eastville, and Gotham in NY. She most recently won Best Stand-Up Comic at The Eagle Rock Comedy Festival.

Rachel is an actress, producer, writer, and yoga teacher. She strives to create entertaining work that sheds light, often comedic, on the struggles of daily life. The dream is to continue acting in TV shows, plays and films that she writes and/or produces. Rachel earned a BA in Theater from Columbia University. Her production company, Crooked Neck, produced many plays in LA and NY; most notably the NY premiere of Me, My Guitar and Don Henley written by Krista Vernoff (Grey's Anatomy). 3 Things (www.3thingsfilm.com) earned her the best actress award at the Charleston International Film Festival. Killer - David Aslan

David Aslan is a thorough-bred Jersey boy and jack-of-all-trades behind the camera. He's written and directed a wide variety of award-winning shorts and webseries, most recently the Youtube sensation and action movie spoof Lesbian Cops. His latest short Layover, which he wrote and directed, was workshopped through We Make Movies and produced through their second short film slate. You can also find David performing in independent comedy shows around Los Angeles with his improv team The Family Van.

Mullet - Rafael Del Toro

Rafael Del Toro, began his writing and filmmaking career at UC Berkeley, where he received Berkeley's Eisner Award for his film, Maris. As a Dean's Fellow at NYU's Tish School of the Arts, Rafael received a regional Student Academy Award (The Playroom), a Coca-Cola Refreshing Filmmaker's Award (Must Be Love), a nomination for the DGA's Best Latino Student Director, and a Sloan Foundation Production Grant. Rafael has spent 6 years at KNBC & Telemundo, producing, writing, directing, shooting and editing promos and commercials. Rafael's upcoming projects include directing his first feature script, Mullet, and writing his next TV project, Loco News.

No Way Out - Laura Durkay

Laura Durkay is an independent writer, director and producer based in New York City. Her short films One Night (writer, director, producer) and Lloró (producer) are currently on the festival circuit. Her feature scripts have reached the top 10% of the Nicholl Fellowships and Austin Film Festival screenwriting competitions, and her feature script Receiver is currently on Amazon Studios's Notable Projects list. She studied writing and directing at the University of Southern California and with Ela Thier at the Independent Film School. She will be shooting her first feature, Natalie, a female-driven microbudget thriller, in July/August 2013.

Scavengers - Jami Burke

Jami Burke is a graduate of New York University's Tisch School of the Arts Film & Television program. She has produced several short films with award-winning filmmaker James Berry and currently works as a marketing professional in the toy industry. Jami has written several film and television scripts that have been recognized by contests such as the Scriptwriters Network Hollywood Outreach Program, Scriptapalooza, the Broad Humor Film Festival, and Shriekfest Film Festival.

Welcome to the Sandbox - LaToya Morgan

Born and raised in Los Angeles, LaToya graduated from the University of California, Irvine with a B.A. in Political Science. After graduation she completed an AmeriCorps National Service Fellowship, improving the lives of children in poor and low-income families as community organizer for the Children's Defense Fund. LaToya received an MFA in Screenwriting from the American Film Institute Conservatory. She was selected as a Fellow in Film Independent's Project: Involve, and placed in the distinguished Nicholl Fellowship. She is a 2011 alumna of the Warner Bros. Writers' Workshop and has been a staff writer on the Showtime series SHAMELESS and NBC's PARENTHOOD.
